What it does: A ready-to-use shampoo built around 4% chlorhexidine gluconate, paired with aloe vera. If your vet asked for a 4% chlorhexidine shampoo, this is the bottle.
How to use: Ready to use. Do not dilute; diluting lowers the active strength printed on the label. Do a quick first wash with Pure Planet Cucumber Melon (10:1) to lift oil and dirt. Then apply this shampoo straight from the bottle, work it down to the skin, and leave it on for the contact time printed on the label, or the time your vet gave you. Rinse until the water runs clear, then dry fully.
Pairs well with: Finish with Pramoxine Anti-Itch Creme Rinse or Oatmeal Leave-On Conditioner. If your vet named chlorhexidine and miconazole together, use Micohexidine.
Good for: owners whose vet named chlorhexidine 4% · routine skin-care baths.
See your vet first: A grooming product, not a vet visit. See your veterinarian first for open wounds, spreading bald patches or skin that keeps getting worse.
